AMD64 sizeof(void *) warnings

There are a bunch of casts in the code which generate
warnings because of casting from an int to an pointer
of different size.
This might result in an unexpected behaviour.

sizeof(void*) is 8byte
sizeof(int) is 4byte
sizeof(long int) is 8byte

Here is an example:
