When the keyword assert is encountered by the Jalopy Eclipse plugin it causes the IDE to list a number of false errors which can only be removed by deleting the file and re-importing the file into the project.

Re-starting Eclipse should work also.
Will vanish with the next version as you then can enable 1.4 compliance level. I will eventually add an action to remove the generated messages.
