When an e-mail is sent from Quickmail Pro the file that is
attached shows up in the files section as "download.txt." When
the file name is clicked on to download, it is opened in the browser

If the file is right-clicked on and saved to the desktop, the
filename and extension return to what they were when the user e-
mailed the file, in this case "Picture 3.png."
E-mail attachements sent from other e-mail clients (Apple Mail
and Thunderbird) do not exhibit this behavior - the filename and
extension stays when the file is uploaded to the issue.

Can you send an email with an attachment directly to
djmitche@users.sourceforge.net?
I'll see if I can figure this out.

OK, QuickMail is omitting the "Content-Disposition" header. RFC 2183
states:
"Content-Disposition is an optional header field. In its absence, the MUA
may use whatever presentation method it deems suitable."
so neither QuickMail nor EnterTrack are technically out of spec here, but it
sure would be nice if EnterTrack processed the thing as an attachment.
I'll have a patch shortly.

OK, patch attached, and moved to the patches tracker.
Chris -- this patch applies against 1.1.0
Developers -- this patch also applies against HEAD, although for unknown
reasons email submission doesn't seem to be working in HEAD. Hmm.

Sorry -- I forgot to mention that this patch also includes some debugging
support in email/submit.py, as well as a call to error_reporting() in
email.php, to eliminate interference from those annoying error messages.

I'd also like to point out that this is issue #1234567.. that doesn't happen
every day :)
