  • There are a lot of complaints that that AI cheats on dice rolls, and I have to agree. Nearly every time I attack with a force of 10+ troops against a defender with 2, I lose that battle. It happens several times a game, and it never happens to my AI opponents. This makes this game nearly unplayable., which is a shame because the custom maps are great, and the AI is pretty good when it's playing fairly. If the developer truly wants to defend against claims of cheating, I would suggest a log file the player can review and easily parse into a spreadsheet after the game. It doesn't help that the dice rolls flash so quickly that you have no chance of writing them down. The over-amped shouting when you trade your cards for reinforcements is really annoying. Please cut the volume in half or give the player a way to toggle it.
  • Great project, and it's awesome that Yura is still supporting it! But it definitely needs more attention there's a lot to fix, missing key info, and some outdated elements that make map creation pretty challenging. simcitybuilditapp.com
  • I agree with the AI who is (maybe not) cheating. Spent time in compare and AI is wining over 80% of the time while the player losing over 60% of the time. This make the game uninteresting. That's sad because it could be very nice. - Correct this (big) problem. - Put more fight options like artillery or soldiers, like higher position gives more attack points, like army who settle-block-bunker (cost one turn) get defense points. Waiting for update
  • Very good project and its great that its still supported by yura. But it needs more support and a lot of work and stuff to fix. Important informations are missing, bugs and an outdated basic make it hard to create maps for this.

please report the bugs, use the instructions here to make maps: http://domination.sf.net/makemaps.shtml it should not be hard, you should be able to make a map in a few minutes.
  • I'm hooked on the Roman Empire 400 AD board, self-playing over and over again, perhaps because I read Roman History from beginning to end. I have only two suggestions on Statistics. One is that it would be nice to walk through a game again, much as you might a Chess game. Another is that the Statistics box could have number of Armies, etc on the Y axis placed on the right side instead of the left, so you don't have to carefully eye how many is being registered on the histogram all the way over to the left side of the graph. Or perhaps put the numbers on both sides, so you can see what the game started with. Fantastic project! Have fun!
