Win32/Win64 Binaries

We now offer two archives.

The full package contains runtimes for charon-core, charon-flow, charon-utils, templategenerator, hekate and tuchulcha in debug and release configurations. The debug versions are suffixed with "_d".

The minimal package contains only release builds without hekate for folks who are only interested in the optical flow packages.

We highly recomend the 64bit builds unless you only have a 32bit system. The 32bit build may miss some plugins due to dependencies.

Dependencies

To use the release versions of the programs and plugins you will need the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 SP1 Redistributable Package which you can get at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/de-de/details.aspx?FamilyID=c32f406a-f8fc-4164-b6eb-5328b8578f03 (x86) and http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/de-de/details.aspx?FamilyID=C68CCBB6-75EF-4C9D-A326-879EAB4FCDF8 (x64)

To use the debug configurations you will need the debug runtime libraries which are part of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010. You can get the express version for free at http://www.microsoft.com/visualstudio/en-us/products/2010-editions/express or you can download the Microsoft Windows SDK (http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=8279)

The Visual Studio 2010 Service Pack is also strongly recommended as it fixes certain errors which occur in 64bit builds (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/de-de/details.aspx?FamilyID=75568aa6-8107-475d-948a-ef22627e57a5)

Usage

Simply unpack the provided archive. The DLLs and Tuchulcha are located in the bin subfolder. Example workflows can be found in the examples subfolder.
