Translations become better with time and it has been a long time since my last update. (The original translations and following updates were mine.)
The choice for the specific term you mention was made many years ago. It could stay as it is, but the patch makes clear the difference between “Any other” and “The following step/element”. If you reverse translate “Tjetri” in English, you get “The other”, which I feel is not quite “Next”…
Most of the changes are cosmetic ones, or a better rewording. And typo fixing. Or translations for terms previously untranslated, like “Clipboard”
The only “substantial” change is moving sentences for action description, like “Installing… ” or “Copying files to disk, please wait…” from first person (as the computer would be talking to the user about what it is doing at that moment) to a non person form, a common mode for sq.

The Microsoft terminology database has for example:
Click Next to continue. = Kliko Tjetri për të vazhduar which is much closer to what we already have compared to your change.
