Which IC's are on the PCTV card ? > I tried to capture video using this command line: > > lavrec -f a -i p -q 80 -d 2 test1.avi > > but I got an error message: > **ERROR: [lavrec] Error getting video parameters: Invalid argument. > Segment violation. Very likely that lavrec wanted to set something suitabel for the other zoran cards. And your card does not understand that. > Then I tried to capture using software encoding: > lavrec --software-encoding -f a -i p -q 80 --geometry=352x288 test.avi > Then, there were no error messages, but when I played test.avi I only > had a black screen. I would guess that you have choosen the wrong input. Can you watch the video in Linux with xawtv while you record from the video card ? Did the input change ? What happens when you choose another input (p/P/t) Or the numeric inputs when you use the cvs version. > I have read the driver documentation and searched the web but I couldn't > find any useful information about where the problem is. > If anybody has a suggestion or, better, a solution I will be very > grateful to him/her. Hope that helps a litte. auf hoffentlich bald, Berni the Chaos of Woodquarter Email: sha...@ut... www: http://www.lysator.liu.se/~gz/bernhard |
